Persimmons are the last bit of deliciousness to be harvested from the orchard for the year. These glowing orange globes are packed with vitamins, anti-oxidants and pure sweetness.

- 4 hachiya persimmons, which are astringent and need to ripen to a pudding consistency on your kitchen counter, and then can be eaten with a spoon.
- 4 saijo persimmons, which are also astringent and need complete ripening to eat. Saijo means “the best one” in Japanese and lives up to it’s name. Definitely the best persimmon for flavor I have ever tried.
- 4 fuyu persimmons, which are non-astringent, and can be eaten like an apple. I like to cut them up into a fall salad with goat cheese and chopped walnuts
- a 4 oz bag of dried persimmons, for healthy snacking anytime!
